With today's disappointing news that Glasgow will remain in Level 3 from 17 May, we would like to confirm the following:
- There is no impact to any planned attendance at the newcomers session this weekend, as all of Scotland will still be in Level 3. This means there is no travel restriction in place, and we will run a non-contact session as originally planned.
- From Monday 17 May, all areas around Glasgow, other than Glasgow City, will move to Level 2. As Victoria Park is located in Glasgow City, which will remain in Level 3, players should not travel from an area outside of Glasgow City to train until Glasgow City is brought into Level 2, which will hopefully be from 24 May.
- Non-contact training will resume until further notice, as contact training is only allowed from Level 2 and below.
- The league will be postponed by a week, commencing 1 June, in order to allow teams to train with contact a week ahead of competitive play.
